　　If your favorite color is red, you are full of fire, emotion, and energy; and you like to be in the middle of the action（行动）. Youre always ready to try new things.

　　If you like green best, you are a more laid-back kind of person. Your family and friends are probably（可能是） very important for you.

　　If yellow is your favorite color, you are like the sun; you brighten up any room you go into. Youre super（超） happy, idealistic（理想主义的）, and energetic（精力旺盛的）. Youre also very curious（好奇的）, so you tend to know a lot.

　　Purple is the color of royalty（庄严、高贵）. So if you like purple, you probably like to be treated（对待） like a king or queen.

　　如果你最喜欢红色，（If your favorite color is red）那么你热情如火（full of fire），充满活力（full of emotion and full of energy），而且你喜欢参与各种活动。（you like to be in the middle of the action）你准备随时尝试新事物。（Youre always ready to try new things.）

　　the middle of是中间、中部的意思，如：It is already the middle of summer.（现在已是仲夏了。）如果要表达在中间时，需要在前面加介词in，如：I was in the middle of my work when he called.（他打电话来的时候,我正在忙。）

　　ready是形容词，意思是准备好的，为做好准备，口语常说get ready，如：She will tell you when she gets ready.（她准备好了会告诉你的。）本课的用法是be ready to do something（为做好准备），一个做事踏实的人常常在考前一个星期就开始复习，他就可以自豪地说：Im ready to pass the exam.（我已为通过考试做好准备了。）这句话还可以说成be ready for something的形式，如：Im ready for the exam.意思是一样的。

　　如果你最喜欢绿色，（If you like green best）那么你属于比较闲散的人。（you are a more laid-back kind of person）kind of意思是：有点儿，如：She looks kind of pale after her illness.（她病后面色有点苍白。）

　　你的家人和朋友对你来说可能是最重要的。（Your family and friends are probably very important for you.）

　　如果黄色是你最喜欢的颜色，那么你就会像太阳一样，别误会，不是说你会发光发热，而是，无论你走到什么地方，你都会使那个地方为之一亮。（you brighten up any room you go into注意：you go into修饰room）你是个超级乐天派，理想主义者和精力充沛的人。（Youre super happy, idealistic, and energetic.）super就是Very large, great, or extreme或者Excellent的意思，是个在青少年中很流行的形容词，如果你发现什么令你惊奇或特别喜爱的东西，也可以用这个词，比如：a super skyscraper，a super party.

　　你也很好学，所以你往往知道很多事情。（Youre also very curious, so you tend to know a lot.）tend to意思是易于；有倾向）。

　　紫色是高贵的颜色。所以如果你喜欢紫色，那么你可能喜欢别人待你像国王或王后一样。（you probably like to be treated like a king or queen.）
