牛津实用英语语法:109 对他人说话表示同意或不同意

　　A 对肯定性的说法表示同意时，可用yes，so或of course+助动词的肯定式。如原话中的动词带有助动词时，则必须重复这个助动词。如果原话的动词不带助动词，则现在时用do，does，过去时用did：

　　He works too hard.

　　Yes，he does.

　　他干得太卖劲了。

　　是的，他确实如此。

　　There may be a strike.

　　Yes，there may.

　　可能要罢工了。

　　是的，可能会。

　　Living in London will be expensive.

　　(Yes，) of course it will.

　　生活在伦敦开销比较大。

　　(是的，)肯定会是这样。

　　Thats Ann!

　　Oh，so it is.

　　那是安!

　　噢，真的。

　　B 对否定的说法表示不同意时，答话中用 yes/oh yes+助动词的肯定式。这时助动词需要重读。

　　I wont have to pay.

　　Oh yes，you will!

　　我不用付钱。

　　噢，不，你应该付!

　　My alarm didnt ring!

　　Oh yes，it did!

　　我的闹钟没有响!

　　噢，不，它响了。

　　There isnt any salt in this.

　　Yes，there is.

　　这里面一点盐也没有。

　　不，有盐。

　　Bread wont make me fat.

　　Oh yes， itwill.

　　面包不会使我发胖的。

　　噢，不，会的。

　　C 对否定说法表示同意时，答话中用no+助动词的否定式：It wouldnt take long to get there.

　　No， it wouldnt.

　　到那里用不了多长时间。

　　是的，用不了多长时间。

　　I havent paid you yet.

　　No， you havent.

　　我还没付你钱呢。

　　是的，你还没付钱。

　　The boys mustnt be late.

　　No， they mustnt.

　　男孩子们不应该迟到。

　　是的，他们不能迟到。

　　The door cant have been locked.

　　No， it cant.

　　门不可能锁上了。

　　是的，不可能。

　　D 对肯定的说法表示不同意时，答话中用no/oh no+助动词的否定式：

　　Annll lend it to you.

　　Oh no，she wont.

　　安会借给你的。

　　噢，不，她不会的。

　　Peter gets up too late.

　　No， he doesnt.

　　彼得起床太晚。

　　不，他起得不晚。

　　There is plenty of time.

　　No，there isnt.

　　时间多的是。

　　不，时间不多。

　　Prices are coming down.

　　Oh ho，they arent.

　　物价正在下跌。

　　哦，不，没有下跌。

　　对一种假设表示不同意时可用but，这种假设可以用问句的形式表达：

　　Why did you travel first class?

　　But I didnt!

　　你为什么坐头等舱?

　　可我哪儿坐头等舱了?
