　　The National Day is coming. Fred and Jeff are friends. They want to take a trip together.

　　国庆节快要来临了，弗雷德和杰夫是朋友，他们想一起去旅行。

　　J: Hi, Fred. The National Day is coming and well have a seven-day holiday. What will you do?

　　J：嗨，弗雷德，国庆节快到了，我们有七天假期，你想做什么?

　　F: I want to go outside Shanghai this time. How about taking a trip?

　　F：我想去上海以外走走，去旅行怎么样?

　　J: That sounds great! Where do you want to go?

　　J：听起来很不错!你想去哪儿呢?

　　F: I have no ideas. Just somewhere with fresher air and fewer people.

　　F：我也不知道，就想找个空气清新点儿，人少的地方。

　　J: What about Tibet? If you agree, Ill go with you.

　　J：西藏怎么样?如果你愿意，咱俩儿一块儿去。

　　F: Really? Are you kidding?

　　F：你说真的?没开玩笑吧?

　　J: No, I am serious. I want to go there, too.

　　J：没有，我是认真的，我真的很想去那儿。

　　F: OK! Lets call the travel agency and find more information.

　　F：好吧，那我们打电话给旅行社问问，多收集点儿信息。

　　Kate has got a toothache, she is at the dentists. The nurse is speaking to her.

　　凯特牙痛，她去了牙医那儿，护士正在跟她说话。

　　N: Can I help you?

　　N：能帮你做点什么吗?

　　K: I have got a toothache. I want to see Doctor Smith.

　　K：我牙疼，想找史密斯医生。

　　N: Do you have an appointment?

　　N：请问你有预约吗?

　　K: No, I havent.

　　K：还没有。

　　N: He is busy at the moment. Would you please take this medicine first?

　　N：他现在正忙，请先吃点儿这个药吧。

　　K: Do I have to?

　　K：一定要吃吗?

　　N: Im afraid you do. It will help you a bit. And I will tell him to look after you first.

　　N：我想是的。它能帮你减轻疼痛。我回去请史密斯医生待会儿先帮你看。

　　K: Thanks.

　　K：谢谢。

　　N: Will you please fill in this form. The magazine are over there. You can have a look if you like.

　　N：麻烦先填一下这张表格。如果你有需要的话，那边有杂志。

　　K: All right.

　　K：好的。

　　Peter is making a phone call to his friend Jack. But he happens to be out. His girlfriend Alice is taking a messeage.

　　彼得正在打电话给他的朋友杰克，但是杰克恰好不在，他的女朋友爱丽丝正在帮彼得留字条。

　　P: May I speak to Jack?

　　P：我想找杰克。

　　A: Sorry, he is out at the moment. Whos that?

　　A：抱歉，他正好出去了。请问你是哪位?

　　P: This is his old friend Peter. When will he be back?

　　P：我是他的老朋友彼得。请问他什么时候回来?

　　A: Maybe a couple of hours, Im not sure. This is his girlfriend Alice. Would you leave a messege?

　　A：可能几个小时之后吧，我不确定。我是他女朋友爱丽丝，能帮你留言给他吗?

　　P: Tell him to go to the airport before 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. We are leaving for Hong Kong for an important meeting.

　　P：请告诉他明天早上八点之前到机场，我们要赶去香港参加一个重要会议。

　　A: OK! Anything else?

　　A：好的，还有其他事情吗?

　　P: No, thanks a lot.

　　P：没有了，谢谢。

　　A: Youre welcome.
