　　Youth

　　is not a time of life，it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees， it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions.it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

　　Youth means a tempera-mental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20.Nobody grows old merely by a number of years.　We grow old by deserting our ideals.

　　Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back to dust.whether 60 or 16, there is in every human beings heart the lure of wonder,the unfailing childlike appetite of whats next and the joy of the game ofliving.　In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, you and I will remain young.

　　When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are upto catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may have young heart at 80.

　　青春不是生命的一瞬，它是一种自然的心境;青春不是如花的脸庞、鲜红的嘴唇和健康柔润的双腿，它是一种意志、想象、精力，更是生命中那生机勃勃的春天。

　　青春是冲动的勇敢而不是懦弱，青春是挑战的欲望而不是安逸的生活。即使年过花甲，仍壮心不已。没有人痴长百岁，而伴随着的是我们抛却幻想，锤炼生活的经历。

　　岁月让我们的皮肤起了皱纹，但缺乏会让我们的灵魂萎缩。焦虑、恐惧、缺乏自信则让心稽首，更让心灵的青春尘封无论60岁还是16岁，我们每个人都有着天生的好奇心、孩子般刨根追底不厌其烦的渴求欲望、幻想游戏人生的生活方式。在你我心中有着心灵的默契：只要我们的心还能从人们的身上和大自然的怀抱中感受到美丽、希望、快乐、勇气和力量，那么我们依旧年轻无限。

　　当幻想破灭，而你愤世嫉俗，对生活充满悲观情绪，那么你已经老了。即使在20岁的时候，只要你积极乐观的追求你心中的幻想，一直到永远，那么你在80岁的时候仍有一颗永保青春的心。
