　　结构：共有4个谓语动词：found/are/goes/is，其中主句的谓语动词为found和that。分号后面的and前后两句话是并列结构。upon that等于because of that。第二个that引导a general law的同位语从句。第三个that指a general law。as it goes是插入语，等于up till now in itself。拆分为：

　　2) That all hard and green apples are sour.
