“车主司机”是干啥的？

快车，专车，顺风车......突然间，好像打车出行的人多了很多选择。有些私家车主在自己有空或者顺路的情况下，会通过一些平台接单拉活，这样的车主有个很直白的名字owner-driver。

With ride-sharing apps Uber and Lyft becoming more and more popular, it’s probably not a surprise to see the term owner-driver – which refers to a person who owns the vehicle that they operate for their job – on the rise.

Uber和Lyft这样的搭乘应用程序越发普及，诸如owner-driver(车主司机)这样的说法越来越多也就不奇怪了，这个词指“以开自己的车为业的人。

Owner-driver既是车的owner，同时还是驾车赚钱的driver，是不是很直白呢?

For example:

He quitted his job as a security guard last month and bought a second-hand car, now he is an owner-driver, making over 500 yuan a day.

他上个月辞职不干保安了，买了辆二手车。现在他是车主司机，每天收入500多元。
