Fifa is to bar countries bidding to host the WorldCup from funding football projects overseas as itseeks to reform itself following US accusations that the sport’s governing body was riddledwith corruption.

In response to criticism over the human rights records of some World Cup hosts, Fifa will alsorequire bidders to follow UN labour and human rights standards.
