A Chinese company has invented a way to keep your car covered - without the need for a garage.

The invention comes from Shanghai Chaoye Energy & Technology Co., which specialises in developing large scale photo-voltaic energy vehicle accessories.

The firm, which started in 2010, says it has signed contracts with a number of companies in China and overseas.

Within the next two years it also intends to develop a number of products, including an automatic car cleaning room.
