Blake, the 44-year-old founder of Black Ivory Coffee, has recently produced elephant dung coffee after nine years' effort.

According to Blake, the enzymes in the elephant's stomach function as a kind of slow cooker, where the digestive acid takes 17 hour to take the bitterness out of the coffee beans.

To make a kilo of coffee, the elephants have to consume 33 kg of beans.

The rarity of the elephant dung coffee makes it at $1,880 per kg, or $13 for a cup.
