From South Korea to Indonesia and India, monetaryauthorities are preparing to let their currenciesweaken as a falling Japanese yen makes theireconomies uncompetitive, and drags them into whatsome policymakers are calling a "currency war".

从韩国到印尼和印度，各国货币政策机构正准备让本币贬值，因为日元下跌导致他们经济的竞争力下降，并将各国拖入一场决策者口中的"货币战"。

The Indonesian rupiah, Malaysian ringgit, Thai baht and other currencies had been slidinggradually against a broadly strong US dollar this year.

印尼卢比、马来西亚林吉特、泰铢等货币与今年全线走强的美元之间的汇率一直在逐步下跌。

While the yen has lost 16% in 9 months and the euro has fallen 18% since early May 2014,Asian currencies have depreciated far less, making their exports less cheap in internationalmarkets.

日元9个月贬值16%，欧元从2014年5月初开始下跌18%，而相比之下亚洲货币的贬值则少的多，导致其出口产品在国际市场中不那么便宜。
