This cat, with a permanently confused expression, is being primed by his owners to take the web by storm.

His eyebrows make him look surprised, prompting his owners to name him the Confused Kitten.

他的眉毛看起来很惊奇，所以他的主人想到了叫他困惑喵。

A Facebook page for the young animal is picking up likes.

Owner Andy Entwistle, 40, said: ‘When he was born there were just these two little blackblotches on his forehead.

‘As he grew they got bigger and started to spread out, we started saying how confused he looked so I penned him “Concerned Kittenand it’s just stuck.’

“随着他长大，那两个斑点也跟着长，慢慢地散开了，我们也开始觉得他长得好困惑啊，所以我叫他‘困惑喵’，然后就一直这么叫下去了。

The cute cat lives in Bolton.

Andy’s wife Caroline said the couple had considered giving the entire litter he was born in away, but decided not to.

安迪的妻子卡罗琳说，他们曾经打算把新出生的那窝小猫都送走，但是后来没有这么做。

She said: ‘When we saw his distinctive look we couldn’t get rid of him looking like that.

她说：“我们看到他长得这么与众不同，真是不舍得把他送走。

‘We love Grumpy Cat so we thought we’d give him a run for his money.’

“我们很喜欢‘不爽猫’[2012年凭一张臭脸在网络上走红的喵星人]，所以我们打算让他们一较高下。

The kitten’s real name is Gary, after Take That star Gary Barlow.

小猫咪的真名叫盖瑞，是以Take That组合中的一员盖瑞·巴洛的名字命名的。

Caroline said: ‘When Gary Barlow’s singing he holds his eyebrows up to get to the high notes, and there’s definitely a resemblence.

卡罗琳说：“盖瑞·巴洛飙高音的时候会眉毛上扬，他们真是像极了。

‘We decided it was a great name for him. He can’t be Confused Kitten all the time.’

“我们觉得这是个好名字。他总不能一直叫‘困惑喵’啊。

Grilled over whether the eyebrows are drawn on, Andy said: ‘A lot of people have asked us if they’re drawn on, but they’re really not.

总是有人问猫咪的眉毛是不是画上去的，安迪说：“很多人问过我们猫咪的眉毛是不是画上去的。真不是。

‘It would be a bit cruel wouldn’t it really.

“如果真是的话就他会难受的吧。

‘But if anyone doesn’t believe it, we’re happy to try and rub them off. They’re not going anywhere.’

“要是有人不相信的话，我们很乐意试着把眉毛擦掉。肯定是擦不掉的。
