A: Have you even seen a beauty pageant? All the women that participate are attractive.
B: I’ve watched a few. Most of the girls have an angelic appearance which appeals to the judges.
A: It doesn’t hurt that they wear ravishing clothes that make them look more becoming.
B: Not only do they need to be beautiful but also graceful in the judges’ eyes.

A: 你看过选美表演吗？所有参赛的女孩儿都很迷人。
B: 看过几次。她们中的绝大多数都美若天仙，很受评委的喜爱。
A: 即使她们身着令人销魂的服饰也无伤大雅，那反而让她们看起来更出众。
B: 要想赢得评委的青睐，她们不仅要外观靓丽，还要谈吐优雅、举止得体。

attractive: 妩媚的，招人喜欢的，有魅力的，吸引人的。
angelic: 可爱的，天使般美丽的。
appeal to sb.: 对某人来说有吸引力。
It doesn’t hurt that …: ……是毫无害处的。
ravishing: 美得令人销魂的，妩媚的。
