【语言点精讲】

get a promotion: 得到提升；升职。
be thrilled to bits: 用来形容某人很快乐，处于一种狂喜的状态。bits，指零星碎片。
advance: 提拔，升迁。
career: 职业，事业。
approval: 认可，赞成。
