that意思是“那么”、 “那样”， 指代前面提到的具体数字或程度。

pretty “相当”。

improvement “改善”。

His English isn’t good enough.

(他的英语不够好。)

他实在是愚蠢之极。

airhead “浅薄无知的人”。直译是“他是我所遇见的人当中最浅薄无知的人”。
