销售部新人尼克和营销牛人约翰在讨论约翰的销售成绩和策略，新人做起来比较吃力，约翰愿意看尼克的销售方法然后给出指导。请看下面的英语情景对话。

约翰:

Have you reached this month's sales target?

尼克:

Yes, but only just. I had a few hard sells this last week that just got me there.

约翰:

Why were they hard sales?

尼克:

I think it was my approach that isn't totally convincing.

约翰:

Well, I could give you some help if you need it. I`ve been doing this job for 5 years, and never have I once not reached my sales target.
