When you're in an interview, try your best to show that you care about the company and how you want to help it grow. Asking questions about promotions or continuouslyfocusing on what you can get out of this job position may be off-putting to your interviewer. Questions about career progressionshould be asked after you get the job, and after you've been at the job for a good while.

当你在面试时，最好尽力表现出对公司的关心并且愿意帮助公司发展。询问关于升职的事或者将关注点放在职位能给自己带来什么会让面试官反感。晋升的事其实可以等你得到工作或工作一段时间后再问。

Remember, your interviewer has probably talked to a ton of job candidates, which means she pretty much knows what you're thinking when you ask questions with promotions in mind. She will know why you're asking her how long she's been at her position and how long it took for her to move up. It's OK to bring it up brieflyand with finesse, but you need to be really careful about how you phraseit. Be sure put less emphasis on what's in it for you, and more on what you can do for the company.

要记住的是，面试官已经见过无数个应聘者，所以当你问升职的事时，他们很清楚你的想法。他们心知肚明为什么你会问“你们做这份工作多久了”和“晋升花了多久”。有技巧的简短提一下自然没什么问题，但是一定要注意措辞。另外，别只关注职位给自己带来的好处，多强调为公司带来的价值。
