　　定冠词the的用法

　　①表示上文提到过的、谈话双方都知道的人或事物，有“这个，那个的意思。

　　He has an English-Chinese dictionary.The dictionary is very good.

　　他有一本英汉词典.那词典很好.

　　②用于山脉、海洋等词前面.

　　the Yellow River 黄河;the Himalayas 喜马拉雅山(脉)

　　③用来表示世界上独一无二的事物: the sun;the moon;the sky;the earth;the world

　　④用于专有名词、乐器名词、方位名词等的前面.

　　the Great Wall,the Summer Palace,the east,play the piano,on the left

　　⑤在习惯性短语中: in the morning;in the afternoon
