体坛英语资讯：Vinci and Errani safely through to second round of Budapest Womens Grand Prix tennis

BUDAPEST, July 5 -- On the second day of the 220,000 dollars Poli-Farbe Budapest Grand Prix women's tennis tournament on Tuesday, Italian top seeds Roberta Vinci and Sara Errani comfortably qualified for the second round, while fourth and six seeds Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic and Mathilde Johansson of France tumbled to surprise defeats.

Top seed Vinci cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over qualifier Lenka Jurikova of Slovakia, while second seed Errani beat Madelina Gojnea of Romania 6-3, 6-1. Hradecka lost 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 to her compatriot Eva Birnerova while Johansson went down 7-6, 7-5 to Zuzana Kucova of Slovakia.

In other results on Tuesday, Katerina Bondarenko of Ukraine beat Hungary's Katalin Marosi 6-3, 6-4; Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine beat the Hungarian Reka-Luca Jani 3-6, 7-5, 6-2; Stefanie Vogele of Switzerland beat Petra Martic of Croatia 7-5, 7-5; while the qualifier Estrella Cabeza Candela of Spain defeated Corinna Dentoni of Italy 6-3 6-1.

Russia's Nina Bratchikova retired injured in the second set against her opponent Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia with the score at 7-5, 1-0. Krunic progresses to the second round.

In the day's other match, wild card Timea Babos became the only Hungarian to qualify for the second round. The 18 year-old beat Italian Anna Remondina in straight sets 6-3, 7-6. Babos will take on Vinci in the next round.

The WTA Tour outdoor clay court event, formerly known as the Gaz de France Grand Prix, has been held since 1993.
