BERLIN, April 30 -- Youngster team Borussia Dortmund wrapped the Bundesliga title Saturday two match days ahead of season final after beating Nuremberg, as Cologne defeated its chaser Leverkusen 2-0.

At the other matches, Bayern humiliated Schalke with a terrific 4-1 win. Mainz midfielder Elkin Soto donated two goals to seal the 3-0 victory within the first half against shorthanded Frankfurt. Hoffenheim gave away a neat lead to lose 1-2 within five minutes thanks to two goals by striker Cacau.

Top team Dortmund utilized the second chance for the Bundesliga championship thanks to a faultless performance against 6th positioned Nuremberg. Dortmund striker Lukas Barrios opened the scoring at the 32nd minute for his side when he netted a rebound from close distance. Two minutes before break, Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski wrapped the deal when he over lobbed Nuremberg goalie.

"I' m happy. It is an overwhelming feeling. This young team staged an exceptional season especially under pressure" , Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said.

Dortmund chief's executive officer Hans Joachim Watzke added: "I cannot believe it yet. If one sees it all, all this ups and downs. The club deserves it after a huge season."

It is the 7th Bundesliga title in their history after nine years of a dry spell. The club defended first position since the 10th game day. Dortmund stays on 1st position with 72 points while Nuremberg stays on 6th position with 47 points.

Cologne smoothed the way for Dortmund's title owing a 2-0 win over chaser Leverkusen. Cologne striker Milivoje Novakovic flabbergasted 2nd positioned Leverkusen when he made the game safe with two goals within second half.

Cologne remains on 14th position with 38 points meanwhile Leverkusen occupies 2nd position along 64 points.

Defending champions Bayern Munich humiliated Schalke with a magnificent performance especially by youngster striker Thomas Mueller. With only six minutes into the match, midfielder Arjen Robben netted the opened to smooth the way for the victory.

Two minutes later, Bayern defender Holger Badstuber levelled the score for Schalke through an own goal. With 13 minutes into the match Thomas Mueller gave his side the lead after Schalke failed to clear the ball from goal area.

Freiburg top striker Papiss Demba Cisse defeated Hamburg single-handed with one goal each half to leave his team on 7th position with 44 points meanwhile Hamburg slipped to 8th position along 43 points.

Cisse occupies second position of the goal getter standings with 22 goals whereas Bayern striker Mario Gomez sits on first position along 23 goals.

Offensively minded Mainz overcame over challenged Frankfurt 3-0 within the first half. Mainz midfielder Andreas Ivanschitz opened the scoring at the 26th minute, midfielder mate Elkin Soto extended the lead at the 38th minute whereas Frankfurt midfielder Sebastian Rode weakened his team with a professional foul following a straight red card two minutes before break.

Consequently, Mainz midfielder Elkin Soto wrapped his brace second before break to mark the final 3-0 score. Mainz stays on 5th position with 52 points whereas Frankfurt slipped to 16th position along 34 points.

Hoffenheim gave away a neat 1-0 lead to lose 1-2 to Stuttgart that turned the match within five minutes during second half. Hoffenheim stays on 9th position along 40 points whilst Stuttgart climbed to 12th position with 39 points.

Already on Friday Wolfsburg defender Sascha Riether hived his side out of bottom three thanks to a first half strike winner to dig Bremen into relegation battle. It is the second consecutive win for the "Wolves" .

Bremen crashed on 13th position with 38 points while Wolfsburg jumped to 15th position with 35 points.

Kaiserslautern wrapped their continuance in German first division with a 2-0 victory over St. Pauli that needs a miracle to stay up. Kaiserslautern climbs on 11th with 40 points whilst St. Pauli sits on last position with only 29 points.
