中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平近日在吉林考察时强调，坚持新发展理念，深入实施东北振兴战略，决胜全面建成小康社会、决战脱贫攻坚。

President Xi Jinping has stressed sticking to China's new development philosophy and further implementing the strategy of revitalizing northeast China. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during an inspection tour in northeast China's Jilin province. He urged efforts to ensure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and eradicating poverty.

在吉林省四平市梨树县，农民驾驶免耕播种机播种玉米。2016年，《中共中央 国务院关于全面振兴东北地区等老工业基地的若干意见》对外发布。实施东北地区等老工业基地振兴战略，是党中央、国务院在新世纪作出的重大决策。当前和今后一个时期是推进老工业基地全面振兴的关键时期。

2018年9月25日-28日，习近平在东北三省考察并主持召开深入推进东北振兴座谈会。他强调，东北地区是我国重要的工业和农业基地，维护国家国防安全、粮食安全、生态安全、能源安全、产业安全的战略地位十分重要，关乎国家发展大局。新时代东北振兴，是全面振兴、全方位振兴，要从统筹推进“五位一体”总体布局、协调推进“四个全面”战略布局的角度去把握，瞄准方向、保持定力，扬长避短、发挥优势，一以贯之、久久为功，撸起袖子加油干，重塑环境、重振雄风，形成对国家重大战略的坚强支撑。
