As is vividly showed in the picture above, a young man, with his luggage on hand, happily starts his journey by Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway. Just as the words under the picture says “With Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, cities far away are just like places nearby”, with the development of technology, the distances between cities are shortened and the traveling to other cities become faster and more convenient.

Whether one is willing or not, he can not deny that endless innovations of technology are constantly changing our lives. People use technology to communicate with the outside world, to make new friends, to become informed, and to stay in touch with one another. Modern technology also improves medical conditions and prevents many deaths from occurring. Most importantly, technology improves productivity and efficiency.

To the young, the startling advances in application technology enable them to work and live more comfortably. As to children, they benefit most from the boom of information technology. In one word, modern technology has undoubtedly made a serious impact on the world.
