既生“亮”，何生“关张”？

公元264年，关云长虎落平阳，为孙权部将吕蒙所害。主公大痛，隐隐有伐吴之心。我心知不妙，几月后，张飞为部将杀害后，凶手降吴。一载之内，五虎上将如灰飞烟灭，折伤殆尽。主公哀怒之下，草率出兵，亲率六十万大军，扬言灭吴。出发前那夜，我知主公此去必定是凶多吉少，苦劝道：“主公，节哀顺变，二虎相争，必有一伤，奈何与操贼坐收渔翁之利？”言曰：“我与他二人同生共死，今二人已死，我有何面目见二人阴魂于地下！”并下令有谏其勿出兵伐吴者，斩！那夜，我痛哭流泪，知自己已无法挽救危机，更深知他三人血浓于水之情。

"I live and die with him," he said, "now that they are dead, how can I see their spirits underground?" And ordered that those who remonstrated with him not to send troops to attack Wu should be beheaded! That night, I cried and wept, knowing that I couldn't save the crisis, and more knowing that the three of him were bloodier than water.

果不其然，主公为陆逊所乘，火烧连营六百里，大军所剩十之一二。蜀国大势已去也，三军痛哭俱缟素。一代名主，也于白帝城殒落，从此我孤单一人，操持军国大业，呕心呖血。

Sure enough, Lord Lu Xun was riding on the fire, burning six hundred miles of the camp, and the army was left with 12 of 10. The state of Shu has gone, and the three armies cry bitterly. A generation of famous masters also perished in the city of Baidi. Since then, I have been alone in handling the great cause of military affairs, and my heart is filled with blood.

出师未捷，我“卧龙”愧对蜀国百姓！

常言道：“有缘千里来相会，无缘对面不相识。”

As the saying goes: "it's fate to meet thousands of miles, but it's not fate to meet on the opposite side."

我常想，如果我诸葛亮能获得主公对关张二人那样的情谊，也许我能避免这八百里火烧连营的悲剧，如果没有关张，蜀汉不会元气大伤，则胜负之数，存亡之理，未可说也。天意作弄人，一切皆随缘，如此，我孔明只好哀叹一声：
