心在刃上的选择

历来最为矛盾的便是文人，他们似乎生来就进行着心灵上的选择，在进与退之间，在生与死之间。

我不知道在别人心目中嵇康算不算英雄，但从他的每一次选择中我断定：他是个英雄

如果说嵇康是在尊严与生命之间做出了令人回味的抉择，那么王国维的选择又向我们展示了什么呢？

王国维可谓近代大儒，被人们称为古文化的煞尾者。而正是这样一代大儒，却在清朝覆灭之后随之而去了。对他的死，人们颇有争议。有人以为他是“铁杆”的晚清遗民，为“国”捐躯。而我却同意余秋雨先生的意见：他是死于一种文化。
