说课稿

① Dear teachers, I’m very honored to be here. I’m MY from No.7 Middle School in the city ofDBSofLiaoningProvince. Today I’ll interpret the People’s Education Press Go For It Grade Nine, Volume 2 from three aspects.—总说②English Course Standard, Teaching materials and Teaching notes.

English Course Standard includes Period goals and Unit content standard. There are Writing styles, Writing features, Unit contant structure, and combination in Teaching materials, Teaching notes Focus on Teaching notes, Evaluation notes and The development and usage of course resources. I’ll interpret from English Course Standard first.

③As the English course standard requests, the main aim of English course is to cultivate Ss’ Comprehensive language competence. Ss will reach level 5 after this period.

Language skills and Language knowledge are the foundation of Comprehensive language competence.

Emotion attitudes and Culture Awareness are the insurance and main factors of Ss’ study.

Learning strategies is the guarantee of improving study effectively and self-learning.

④ Listening , speaking , reading and writing are four Language skills.

Listening :Ss are able to understand the pronunciation of familiar topics, get over the barriers of new words to get information and take easy notes.

Speaking: Use study tools to get over barriers of new words. Find the main idea and logical relationships.

Reading: Ss are able to express their opinions and exchange information from each other, role play some topics.

Writing : Ss can prepare materials for writing different forms of composition , and correct mistake with the teacher’s help.

All the language skills lay the foundation of language communication.

⑤ There are 5 aspects in language knowledge.

Ss will understand the phonetics by learning the pronunciation, meaning, and spelling in the words.

Master the usages and structures of vocabulary. Master 1500-1600 words and 200-300 idioms.

Understand the basic structures and expressive function.

Can express greetings , thanks, introductions to communicate.

Get familiar with the topics about interests and hobbies, daily lives, customs, science and culture.

⑥ Emotion attitudes can arouse Ss’ interest and change it to strong will on learning. Ss are willing to cooperate with others and it can enhance their love for motherland and expand global vision.

⑦. Ss are able to understand the greetings and names, festivals and customs, amusement and sports, geography, history and climate to acquire Culture knowledge and differences on Culture awareness.

⑧As the major factor, learning strategies adjust Ss’ ways of study from acknowledge ,adjustment , resources and communication to make Ss study independently according to their levels.

⑨As for Unit content standard I will also interpret in five aspects. Ss will learn and master new words of restroom, shampoo, drugstore. Use the imperative sentence and Objective clause such as : Do you know where I can … ? Can you tell me where I can …freely on Language knowledge.

⑩ As for Language skills Ss can listen to important sentences and language structures, inquire others politely. Can point the way or offer help to others according to the map or the location.

⑾ Emotion attitudes require Ss can ask for help and thank others politely. Life is a mirror , you smile at him , he will smile back. Experience the success and happiness through class activities and cultivate their team spirit.

(12) Culture Awareness refers to Understand the differences by asking directions, learn to be polite, train their abilities of intercultural communication.

(13) They can communication strategy to communicate with others as much as possible.

(14)Next , I ‘ll interpret the Teaching materials in 4 aspects.

(15)There are 10-14 learning units in each book which contain 6 pages. Culture reading is added from volume 2 of Grade 8 to Grade 9. 2 Revision units, self-check and additional materials like vocabulary lists and games.

(16)There are five writing features.

Language is connected to the culture, and pass on the information at any time.

Focus onstudent-oriented education, teach Ss by the levels.

Study is a life-long process, help Ss choose the right strategy and cultivate Ss the ability of using strategies.

Task-based teaching method help Ss put what they learn to real life.

Evaluation builds up Ss’ self-confidence.

There are 5 parts in the content Stuctures,

Basic language in SA , extension in SB , Self-check and Reading are Content settings.

Important and difficult points are words and phrases like restroom, drugstore … Object clause with where ,how ,if and imperative sentence.

Topic is about getting around,

Asking for information politely with the target language

I made 3 tasks according to the topic-Getting around. They are And there are three tasks: Welcome to my home, My favorite places and Travel guide.

(18)任务一Welcome to my home1.课前画从家到学校的地图,注明街道和建筑物名字,但不标出自己家的位置。2.小组活动,根据对方的描述标出对方家的位置。3.互换角色练习,看那些组能顺利的在地图上标注出对方家的位置。

(19)任务二我最喜欢的地方1.让学生说出他们最喜欢的地方(可以提前准备图片,电子资料等)。2.小组活动,互相讨论这些地方的优缺点,并做记录。3.整理小组讨论结果,向同学介绍自己喜欢的地方,并说明它的优缺点。

(20)任务三旅游指南1.让学生提前查阅北京著名景点的英文介绍。2.以小组为单位进行讨论并写回信。3.小组汇报,评选最佳北京导游指南

(21) There are 5 units in Grade 9 Volume 2, they are

Unit11Could you please tell me where the restrooms are?Topic: Getting around

Unit 12You’re supposed to shake hands.Topic: Customs.

Unit 13Rainy days make me sad.Topic: Feelings.

Unit 14Have you packed yet?Topic: Preparing for a vacation.

Unit 15 We’re trying to save the manatees!Topic: Protecting the environment.

The Grammar are objective clause , the usage of “be supposed to do” “make”, present perfect tense and social environment unit. U11 sum up the objective clause and make preparation for the High school entrance examination.

(22)And we can also find object clause, imperative sentence and similar topics from the whole course.

(23)From Grade 8 He said I was hard-working. to Grade 9 U11Could you please tell me Where the restrooms are? Ss master the Object clause from Relative pronoun to Relative adverb.

From Grade 7 Don’t eat in class. Grade 8 How do you make a banana milk shake? To Grade 9 U11 Could you please tell me Where the restrooms are? Ss master the imperative sentence gradually .

FromWhere’s the post office? Where’s my backpack? In Grade 7 Ss can make easy inquiry. TO

Could you please clean your room?Would mind turning down the music? In Grade 8

Ss can communicate politely.

to Grade 9 U11 Could you please tell me Where the restrooms are? to enhance Ss ability to communicate interculturally.

As we can see from the connection, this Unit not only concerns Ss’ inquiry ability, but also promotes Ss’ communication ability. Put the knowledge into real life.

(24) As for Teaching notes, I’ll interpret on 3 aspects.

(25) As the reform of English course, which requires us to treat Teaching materials reasonablely, have the new concept of English course. Learning should based on basic skills. Combine , alter , replace and adjust the order and process according to Ss’ levels. Change the presentation of teaching materials by resources like internet, ppt and so on.

Teachers should use task-based language teaching methods to cultivate Ss’ Comprehensive language competence. Face all the Ss , use learning strategies to guide Ss. Concern Ss’ emotion, extend their cultural vision.

(26)There are 3 Evaluation notes I’d like to suggest.

Final evaluation goes to test Ss’ knowledge and skills.

Pluralistic evaluation like report, investigate, study files, self evaluation are used to monitor their learning process.

Evaluate from Ss’ different levels like praise and encourage will build up their good attitudes towards English course.

(27) As to the Development and usages of course resources.

We should make good use of teaching materials and pick up the knowledge which is suitable for Ss’ promotion and life-long development from outside school.

Change the ways of presentation and even provide feedback information to help Ss analyze the mistakes and arrange certain knowledge , help Ss reach the language goal in a short time.

Organize school and society activities like Competitions, English corner, and go to the communities, factories to practice using English, change the knowledge into practical abilities

(28)English is not only a single language, but also an open eye to the outside world.
