故乡的冬天

我的家乡在四川德阳。家乡的冬天没有北方那么冷，更没有鹅毛大雪。

My hometown is Deyang, Sichuan Province. The winter in my hometown is not as cold as that in the north, let alone snow.

早晨，我打开窗帘，只见白茫茫的一片什么也看不见。啊，这雾好白好纯呀！

In the morning, I opened the curtains and saw nothing in the white. Ah, how white and pure the fog is!

我背上书包，走在上学的路上，四周围静悄悄的，只是偶乐听见车子的嗽叭声和人们的叫卖声，却看不到踪影。路旁沾满露珠的草木在大雾中若隐若现，好像正与大雾争个高低。

I carry my schoolbag on my back and walk on my way to school. It's quiet all around, but I can't see the sound of car horn and people's shouting. The dewy grass and trees along the road loomed in the fog, as if they were fighting with the fog.

到了上午十点多，大雾渐渐散开了。太阳从云中跳了出来，可是一点也不耀眼。后来，太阳升高了，放射出万道光芒。光芒照在沾满露珠的草木上，使草木变得“波光粼粼”一般了。

By ten o'clock in the morning, the fog was gradually dispersing. The sun jumped out of the clouds, but it was not dazzling at all. Later, the sun rose and radiated thousands of rays. The light shines on the grass covered with dew, which makes the grass become "sparkling".

到了夜晚，街上没有一个人，旌湖、公园、街道也变得更加宁静了，偶尔刮起一阵风使柳树摇曳着枝条。这时，旌湖的边的灯发出微弱的光，映照在旌湖上，旌湖也变得更加宁静了。整个德阳又沉沉欲睡了。

At night, there was no one in the street. Jinghu, park and street became more peaceful. Occasionally, a gust of wind made the willows sway their branches. At this time, the lights at the edge of Jinghu Lake give out a weak light, which is reflected on Jinghu Lake, and Jinghu Lake becomes more peaceful. The whole Deyang is sleepy again.

家乡的冬天是宁静的，更是美丽的。
