国内英语资讯:CPC to recruit new members at epidemic-fighting frontline

BEIJING, Feb. 26 -- Party organizations at all levels have been required to step up efforts to recruit new Party members at the forefront of the battle against the novel coronavirus epidemic.

The move will encourage frontline personnel to win the battle with firm faith, tenacity and confidence, according to a circular issued by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Qualified applicants, including medical workers, policemen, community workers, and primary-level cadres and the masses, who make outstanding contributions, can be admitted as probationary Party members after being consented by the Party branch concerned and approved by the Party committee at the next level up, according to the circular.

Primary-level Party organizations at the frontline should properly organize new probationary Party members to take the oath of joining the Party, said the circular.
