LEICESTER, Jan. 8 -- Aston Villa drew 1-1 against Leicester in the first leg of the English League Cup semifinals on Wednesday.

Right back Frederic Guilbert gave Villa the lead on 1-0 in the 28th minute. Kelechi Iheanacho slammed a shot into the net for Leicester to level the game 1-1 in the 74th.

The second leg is on Jan. 28 at Villa Park. The winner will face Manchester City or Manchester United in the final.
