国际英语资讯:Jordan reiterates support for Iraqs security, stability

AMMAN, Jan. 21 -- Jordan reiterates its full support to Iraq's stability and security, according to Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Tuesday.

Safadi made the remarks during a meeting in Amman with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammad Al Halbousi.

Talks between the two sides focused on bilateral ties and developments in the region as well as efforts exerted for de-escalation in the area, according to a ministry statement obtained by Xinhua.

The Jordanian minister also voiced his country's support to Iraq in the rebuilding process and defeating terrorist groups.
