BEIJING, Nov. 23 -- Beijing Renhe became the first team be demoted from the Chinese Super League (CSL) this season with two rounds to spare as they suffered a 3-2 home defeat to Jiangsu Suning here on Saturday.

Relegation battlers Renhe were only left with theoretical possibility to remain in the top flight before Saturday's game. Suning were up by three goals before the interval, the home side once scored two goals in a span of four minutes, but it was not enough to turn around.

Suning established a 3-0 lead as Alex Teixeira broke the deadlock in the 18th minute with a angled drive while Ivan Santini were on target twice in four minutes.

Renhe were on fire after the break as Elvis Manu hit in a volley connecting a Makhete Diop header, but it was too late.
