体坛英语资讯：Manchester City to visit Oxford for EFL quarterfinals

LONDON, Oct. 31 -- Defending champions Manchester City will travel to Oxford to take on League One team Oxford United in the English Football League quarterfinals in December.

City cruised into the stage of last eight by beating Southampton 3-1 on Tuesday, while Oxford United edged fellow League One side Sunderland on penalties the same day.

Premier League leaders Liverpool will visit Aston Villa after winning a shootout against Arsenal on Wednesday. But the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp have asked for a reschedule of the fixture as his team need to play in the Club World Cup on 18 December.

The quarterfinal ties are scheduled to take place the week commencing 16 December.
