TEHRAN, June 3 -- Iran men's national futsal team has maintained its position as Asia's best in the latest Asociación Mundial de Futsal (AMF) rankings, Press TV reported on Saturday.

According to the latest classification published by the AMF, Iran could upheld its place in the world's overall standings to stay in the sixth slot with 1,595 points.

The Brazil team, nicknamed Canarinho (Little Canary), is the top-ranked futsal team in the world with 1,929 points.

Spain accumulated 1,872 points to sit in the second position, while third-placed Russians earned 1,765 points.
