英国一位女子日前在一档电视节目上自曝是重度强迫症患者,每天洗手近200次,曾经有一天洗头72次。23岁的瑟琳•瑞纳•戴维斯在英国独立电视台《今天早晨》(This Morning)节目上讲述了自己在强迫症中挣扎度日的故事。据报道,英国每55名成年人中就有一名是强迫症患者。
A young newlywed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder has revealed she once washed her hair 72 times a day and cleaned her hands daily up to 200 times.
一位患有强迫症的新婚太太表示,她曾在一天内洗头72次,洗手多达200次。
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a mental health condition where sufferers experience frequent intrusive and unwelcome obsessional thoughts.

It's estimated that one in 55 young adults in Britain have OCD.
据估计,英国每55名成年人中就有1人患有强迫症。
Serin Rayner-Davis, 23, from Somerset, appeared on ITV's This Morning Tuesday to talk about her daily struggle living with the anxiety disorder.
来自萨默赛特的瑟琳•瑞纳•戴维斯今年23岁,22日,她在英国独立电视台《今天早晨》节目上讲述了自己在强迫症中挣扎度日的故事。
Serin recalled on This Morning: 'When I was about seven it used to take us ages to leave the house because I would jump in and out of the doorway and I was so worried that my parents would die if I didn’t go in and out of this doorway.
她在节目中回忆道:“当我大约七岁的时候,我每次走出家门都要花很长时间,因为我每次都会在家门口不断重复地从屋里跳出来再跳回去。我觉得如果不这么做的话,我的父母就会死。”
'I felt I was responsible for keeping them alive. It was a huge responsibility for a seven year old to bear on their shoulders.
“我觉得自己有义务让他们活下去。这对于一个7岁的小孩来说是很沉重的负担。”
Serin was diagnosed at 18 with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
瑟琳18岁的时候被诊断患有强迫症。
At 21 things became so bad she was washing her hands up to 200 times a day, showering nine times a day, laundering her clothes 15 times a day.
21岁时,她的病情严重恶化,以至于她一天内洗手多达200次,洗澡9次,洗15次衣服。
Serin also has a lengthy night time routine involving checking the security of windows and plugs.
瑟琳深夜时还有反复检查窗户和门栓安全的习惯。
Serin's father Denys Rayner said his daughter's condition made his life a 'living hell'.
瑟琳的父亲丹尼斯•瑞纳称,女儿的病情让他的生活成了“人间地狱”。
Serin's parents had to hide knives and scissors in the household because they were so worried for her safety.

Serin said during her TV interview that she relied on her father to help her because she felt he understood her OCD more.
瑟琳在节目中表示,自己非常依赖父亲的帮助,因为她觉得父亲更加了解她的强迫症。
'I think certain people understand OCD better than other and it just really clicked [with you dad]. Where as I think mum found it difficult to understand.

Serin has now sought help to manage her obsessions, including hypnotherapy and exposure therapy
瑟琳在催眠疗法和暴露疗法的帮助下控制强迫症。
Now she believes 'anything is possible' and finds writing music therapeutic.
现在她相信“一切皆有可能”,并发现写歌有治疗的效果。
And she also credits her husband Ioan's caring attitude towards helping her.
她还认为丈夫伊安充满关爱的态度帮助了她。
She told the ITV presenters: 'Ioan is very good in a sense that he doesn’t enable my OCD.
瑟琳对ITV主持人称:“伊安不会让我的强迫症发作,他在这方面做的很好。”
'He is very respectful he always asks if he can sit there or do that.
“他很尊重我,总是问我那里可以坐下吗,可以那么做吗?”
With the support of her husband, she has revealed she is hoping to move into a new home with him and take control of her life.
在丈夫的支持下,瑟琳表示她正打算和他一起搬入新家,并掌控自己的生活。
