BEIJING, Nov. 9 -- Ty Lawson scored a game-high 35 points to lead six players scoring double digits as Shandong smashed Jilin 151-96 for its four-game winning streak in the 6th round action of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Thursday.
From 4-11 down, Jilin played well in the first quarter to level Shandong 29-29, but lost 41 in total in the second and third quarters to make the last quarter become garbage time.
Ding Yanyuhang who scored his record of 45 points in the 4th round, contributed 18 for Shandong.
Kail Landry made 35 points and 13 rebounds, and Von Waver also had 14 points and seven rebounds for Jilin, but they were still unable to stop the home side from losing its fourth straight game.
In other actions of the day, the 26-year-old Russ Smith who once played for New Orleans Pelicans, got team-high 33 scores to help Fujian beat Tianjin 121-105 for its two-game winning streak.
