The pilot project of online examinations recently is under heated discussion in the universities.Though online examinations have been tried in some foreign countries,they are still fresh for Chinese colleges. People hold unanimous views on them.

Online examinations have their own special advantages of creating a just environment for tests,which is called green tests and permits no cheat because each student will have a different online paper.However, the popularization of onlineexamination is unavoidably facing many challenges,such as the establishment of a complete performance criterion on online examination,principles of supervision and strict training of staff,but among them the most important one is the requirement for equipment.Due to the unbalanced development in education,many universities in some remote areas are incapable of purchasing so many computers for testing and create an examination point.

In spite of so many challenges for online exams,as a reform of modern examinations,I believe that online exams will be adopted in more examinations.Every trial will be perfected in practice and there is no exception to online examinations.
