My View on Protecting Wild Animals
As is vividly depicted in the cartoon, the shop window is presenting a fur coat. Two foxes stare at the coat worrying about being killed one day to be made into clothes. From the information conveyed in this picture, we can see that some animals are in danger of dying out and they are totally helpless in the face of human beings' greed.
Although businessmen know what they are doing is harmful to our living environment and other animals, they can not control their profit-driven desires. In the picture, animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes. When more women want to own a fur coat, more animals will be killed. The value of the animals in the food chain and the whole ecosystem are totally ignored. This irresponsible behavior breaks the balance of nature.
As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal action. Animals are our friends and a part of the environment. We believe that “No buying, no killing”. Therefore, don't buy anything made from endangered species. When buying stops, killing of animals can also be put to an end. Only in this way can we build a harmonious society and ensure sustainable development.

Is Success Due More to Luck or to Diligence?
As is shown in the cartoon, a mother tells her son to work hard, but the son thinks luck can also lead to success. This picture drives us to think about a question: What contributes to success? Some claim that success only roots in diligent work, but others insist that fortune is also indispensable for success.
It is acknowledged by almost everyone that diligence is necessary in pursuit of success. As we can see, the forerunners in diverse fields, no matter what backgrounds they are born with, are all characterized by diligence. Take Jack Ma, the Chairman of the Board of Alibaba Group, as an example. There is no doubt that he has gone through numbers of hardships before he achieves the final success. Despite the fact that diligence is a decisive factor in one's success, luck still plays a supporting role. Success without good luck is almost impossible. Without fortune, how could it be that Columbus discovered America and changed the world history?
In conclusion, people who work hard can prepare themselves for opportunities when luck knocks. On the way to success, diligence always goes hand in hand with luck.
