CHANGCHUN, China, Dec. 29 -- Guangdong beat Shanghai 104-97 to enjoy a three-game winning streak, and Guangsha won their eighth straight in the 22th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday night.

Facing Shanghai, Guangdong managed to get a 27-15 lead before Shanghai overtook the lead at 42-41.

Although Shanghai tried to maintain the edge in the second half, Yi Jianlian and Zhou Peng formed a strong team to consecutive score for Guangdong, closing the game with 104-97.

Meanwhile, with five players scoring double digit, Guangsha hammered Jilin 112-81, extending its winning streak to eight games.

The visiting Jilin took a 12-9 lead at the opening. Then Guangsha bounced back at 26-20 and forced game into garbage time early in the first half.

Also on Friday, Shanxi defeated Tianjin 117-108.
