LUANDA, Feb. 26 -- Angola's Domant FC head coach Francisco Andre resigned, citing the interference of the club's managing body in his work, local media announced on Monday.

Domant FC president Domingos Antonio said he had received a resignation message from the coach to make his place available.

Antonio denied there was any direct interference in the coach's work, but admitted he wanted Cabibi, who was dismissed for marriage on Friday, to play after the draw with Progresso do Sambizanga on Sunday.

The sports official said that for now the team's assistant coaches will be caretakers.

After three matches, Domant FC are seventh in the National First Division Football Championship (Girabola2018) with four points.
