JAKARTA, March 19 -- The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has decided to allow the 62kg weightlifting category into the Asian Games this year.
The decision was made following the exclusion of the category by the Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) recently.
The inclusion of the 62kg weightlifting category would offer an opportunity for Indonesian lifter Eko Yuli Irawan. Iriwan has won several medals internationally, including a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
