Will E-books Replace Traditional Books? 传统书籍是否会被电子书替代？

With the development ofscience and technology, people have a wider choice of reading books. On the one hand, people can read books with the electronicreaders such as kindle. On the other hand, the weight of traditional booksmakes traditional books being at a disadvantage. So are the e-books goingto replace traditional books?

随着科技的发展，人们阅读书籍的选择范围越来越大了。一方面，人们可以用电子阅读器来阅读书籍，比如Kindle。另一方面，传统书籍的重量使得传统书籍处于不利的地位。所以电子书是不是将要取代传统书籍呢？

It is clear that most people dependon traditional books, which turns out an exceedingly profound influence ontheir reading habits. So some peoplemaintain that traditional books won't be replaced by e-books. For onething, people have used traditional books to study for a long time. Foranother, traditional books have a great variety of books while e-books can belacking. What's worse, the technology of the electronic reader is stillimmature, thus increasing opportunities of causing a lot of maintenance costs.

很显然大多数依赖于传统书籍的人，都对他们的阅读习惯有产生极为深刻的影响。所以有些人认为传统书籍不会被电子图书代替。一方面，人们使用传统书籍来学习已经很长一段时间了。另一方面，传统书籍种类广泛，而电子书则是资源短缺。更糟糕的是，电子阅读器的技术还不成熟，从而造成了大量的维修费。

However, some people hold theview that e-books will replace the traditional books. Their reasons are asfollows. In the first place, there is a growing trend that more and morepeople are using electronic readers to read instead of traditional paper books. Amazingly, if you have an electronic reader such as Kindle,you can read thousands of books anytime anywhere. In the second place,with the rapid development of technology, you will feel you are reading atraditional book on the electronic readers.

然而，有些人认为电子书会取代传统书籍。他们的理由如下。越来越多的人使用电子阅读器阅读而不是传统的纸质书本。令人惊讶的是，如果你有一个像Kindle这样的电子阅读器，你可以随时随地阅读成千上万本书。第二，随着科技的飞速发展，用电子阅读器上看书会使你觉得就像是阅读传统书籍一样。

From my point of view, I believe thate-books will replace traditional books. In addition to the advantageslisted above, the e-book is an environmentally friendly product which canreduce the waste of resources. I believe that e-books will shine in the future!

从我的角度来看，我认为电子书会取代传统书籍。除了上述优点之外，电子书也是友好环境的产品，可以减少资源浪费。我相信电子书将在未来会光芒四射的！
