体坛英语资讯：Ahly of Egypt reach African Champions League final

ALGIERS, Oct. 23 -- Ahly of Egypt on Tuesday night managed to reach the final of the African Champions League despite losing 2-1 to Algeria's Entente of Setif (ESS) in the return leg of the competition's semifinal played Monday in Setif province, 400km east of Algiers.

Walid Soliman opened the scoring for the visitors in the 61st minute, but Islam Bakir equalized five minutes later, and Houssam Guacha added the second for the hosts in the 72nd minute, but these two goals were not enough to secure them the final ticket.

The Egyptians will play Tunisia's Esperance of Tunis de Sahel in this year's Champions League final, as the Tunisians won at home against Primeiro de Augusto of Angola 4-2 and 4-3 on aggregate.

The winners of the Champions League trophy will represent Africa in FIFA's Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates in December.
