娱乐英语资讯:Japanese band to kick off China tour

BEIJING, July 12 -- Japanese indie band Mitsume will start its China tour this summer.

The band will hit the stage in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, on Saturday, and then tour other Chinese cities including Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen.

Starting out as a four-piece band in Tokyo in 2009, Mitsume began to perform live in 2010 and released its first album "Mitsume" in 2011.

The band is in high demand after the release of their latest album "Ghosts." Songs like "Esper" in the album showcase their head-bopping beats and mellow instrumentals.
