ATHENS, Jan. 17 -- Olympiacos was confident and careful on Thursday night at the Stadium of Peace and Friendship in Piraeus and eased past Khimki BC 71-57 at Round 19 of the regular season of the Euroleague tournament.

Kostas Papanikolaou and Sasha Vezenkov were the most productive players for the Reds, scoring 14 points each, while Janis Strelnieks scored 3 out of 4 attempts for three points. Khimki BC was unable to follow the Greeks although Jordan Mickey made an effort scoring 21 points.

On January 24, Olympiacos will have a hard task facing Fenerbahce Beko in Istanbul, while Khimki BC will welcome Bayern Munich at home in Moscow on January 25.?
