GENEVA, June 2 -- Reigning Olympic champions France won the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of Switzerland at St Gallen on Sunday, the second leg of the Europe Division 1 series.
The tournament came down to a nail-biting three-way jump-off in which Guillaume Foutrier and his 10-year-old gelding Valdocco des Caps clinched it when second to go against the clock.
Italy finished second and Switzerland, who won the home event last time in 1996, had to settle for the third.
