URUMQI, China, May 31 -- Xu Aili of Geely Auto finished safely on Friday's final stage, winning his first title of T1 2WD group at 2019 Taklimakan Rally.

"I got strong support from my team, which gives me the chance to fulfil my dream," Xu Aili praised, who held nearly 23 minutes to lead over Zi Yungang, the racer of Shaanxi Yunxiang.

BAIC Motor becomes the biggest winner of T1 4WD group with four racers in top 5 rankings.

Lavieille Christian, who lost the championship last year, bounced back and secured the title more than 6 minutes ahead of his teammate Liu Yangui.

For motorcycles group, KTMR2R Star's Armand Monleon Hernandez claimed the crown without any pressure, which gives the Spanish rider his fourth title since 2016.

Zhang Min took second in the overall ranking, while local rider Zakir Yahep ranked third.
