国内英语资讯:CPC releases disciplinary inspection progress list

BEIJING, May 20 -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) on Monday finished releasing the list of progress made by 26 regions and entities inspected in the second round of disciplinary inspection by the 19th CPC Central Committee.

Inspection teams stayed in Party organizations in 13 provincial-level regions, 11 central government departments and two financial institutions for inspection between October and November last year.

The problems found were exposed this January and the progress list started being released on May 16.

The second round disciplinary inspections, specifically targeted at poverty alleviation, marks the first time that the central leading group on disciplinary inspection has focused on a specific subject.

The third round of disciplinary inspection launched by the 19th CPC Central Committee is underway.
