BEIJING, Dec. 14 -- With Justin Hamilton's game-high 33 points and 10 rebounds, Beijing beat Tianjin 112-101 to extend their winning streak to 13 games in the 19th round of the 2018-2019 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday night.
Hosts Tianjin blew a 12-point lead in the first quarter, and Beijing closed the gap to 10 points after the first quarter. Tianjin held the lead in the second quarter at 57-50.
With Hamilton's pretty performance in the third quarter, Beijing reversed the game and held on to the lead until the end.
Aaron Jackson from Beijing scored 19 points and Zhai Xiaochuan bagged 16 points. Shi Deshuai of Tianjin pocketed team-high 32 points and Taylor Rochestie got 29 points with 13 assists.
Pierre Jackson's team-high 43 points and Thomas Robinson's 25 points helped Aolong unexpectedly upset Xinjiang 119-107. Aolong led the game from the first quarter and widened the gap to 20 points of 71-51 after the first half. Although Xinjiang tried their best to catch up with Aolong leading by Darius Adams, they didn't reverse the game.
Adams scored game-high 46 points and Li Gen got 22 points for Xinjiang.
Elsewhere, Shanxi edged Sichuan 107-104, Shenzhen defeated Guangzhou 104-98, Bayi upset Zhejiang 104-91.
