LONDON, Oct. 19 -- Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has promised to be on his best behavior when he takes his side to play Chelsea in Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.
Mourinho, who spent two different spells coaching Chelsea, is currently facing a charge from the Football Association for improper behavior after appearing to swear at a TV camera following his side's fightback from 2-0 down against Newcastle United a fortnight ago to claim a dramatic 3-2 win thanks to an injury time goal from Alexis Sanchez.
That win probably saved Mourinho's job but a defeat to his former club would once again increase the pressure on him, although speaking to Sky Sports, the Portuguese coach insisted he was under no pressure.
"For me it's another game," he commented. "Would I celebrate like crazy my team's goal or victory at Stamford Bridge? I don't think so."
"I think I will try always to control myself and to respect the stadium and supporters that were my supporters and my stadium for many years. To do that I would have to lose my emotional control, which is not easy," insisted Mourinho, who spent five years at Chelsea and is still respected by the majority of their supporters.
"I think I would always think where I am, which stadium I'm in and which public is in the stands. Apart from that, it's just another match for me. A match I want to do well in for my players, my team and my supporters; that's what I want," he said, before concluding he would be "100 per cent Manchester United," in Saturday's game.
Mourinho also explained he had responded to the FA charge, but refused to comment on what he had told them. Enditem
