BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 17 -- Hosts Argentina claimed the men's 3x3 basketball gold medal at the Youth Olympics with 20-15 victory over Belgium in the final here on Wednesday.

Marco Giordano Gnass orchestrated the win for the hosts by netting seven field goals, including three one pointers and four two pointers.

Moussa Noterman was Belgium's top scorer with eight field goals, including seven one-pointers.

The United States won the women's final with an 18-4 rout of France. Aliyah Boston top-scored for the US with five field goals from 11 attempts while Olivia Yale and Eve Mahoutou grabbed two baskets each.

Earlier, Slovenia beat Ukraine 21-13 to take the men's bronze medal and Australia overcame China 16-13 in the women's bronze medal match.
