MANAMA, Sept. 10 -- An international friendly football match between Bahrain and China, held in Manama ended with no teams scoring a goal.

The event was held on Monday at the National Stadium in Riffa.

Both teams were preparaing ahead for upcoming competitions, including the AFC Asian Cup 2019 to be held in January in the UAE.

The Chinese team arrived in Bahrain on Saturday from Doha, where they lost 0-1 to the hosts in another friendly clash.

Bahrain will be taking part in the AFC Asian Cup 2019 for the sixth time.
