MADRID, Sept. 22 -- FC Barcelona look to maintain their 100 percent record at the start of the season when they play Girona in a Catalan derby in the Camp Nou Stadium on Sunday evening.

Girona travel to the Camp Nou after a morale boosting 3-2 win at home to Celta Vigo in an entertaining game on Monday and prior to that they claimed a 1-0 victory away to Villarreal as they get used to life under new coach (and former Barca player) Eusebio Sacristan.

The added interest in this match is because it is the return fixture in January that the Spanish football league (LaLiga) wants to play in Miami: an idea which has caused controversy in Spain.

Friday saw the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) refuse to give their permission for the game to be played in the USA and the argument looks set to drag on for the coming months.
